At North Dallas Physical Therapy, Dr. Daniel Stokes delivers full-hour, 1-on-1 low back pain physical therapy in Dallas — built around your movement, your goals, and your timeline. No aides, no rushed visits, no generic protocols. Just real answers and a clear path back to the activities you love.
You were handed a sheet of exercises and told to rest. Nobody screened your movement patterns, tested your strength, or asked about your goals — and now you're no better than when you started.
Your 'PT session' lasted 20 minutes — 10 of which were with an aide. You never got real hands-on time with a licensed therapist, and your questions went unanswered.
You were told you could return to the gym, the course, or the track — but nobody measured whether your body was actually ready. The pain came back within weeks.
North Dallas Physical Therapy was built for athletes and active adults who are done settling for generic care. Every session is a full hour with Dr. Daniel Stokes — no handoffs, no double-booking, no shortcuts. Your low back pain physical therapy plan starts with a real movement screen and strength assessment, so treatment targets the root cause, not just the symptoms.
Full-hour, 1-on-1 sessions with Dr. Stokes every visit — never shared with another patient or handed off to an aide
Technology-driven assessments including isokinetic strength testing and functional movement screens to guide every decision
Self-pay model with HSA/FSA accepted, superbills provided, and payment plans available — care directed by your goals, not insurance limits
We start by calming your pain quickly using hands-on manual therapy, dry needling, cupping, and soft tissue techniques — so you can move again without bracing for every step.
Using a functional movement screen and isokinetic strength testing, Dr. Stokes pinpoints the movement deficits and muscle imbalances driving your back pain — then builds a personalized program to correct them.
You return to your sport, your gym, or your run — stronger than before. Objective benchmarks confirm you're truly ready, not just guessing. No more setbacks, no more sidelines.
From acute sports injuries to chronic overuse conditions, Dr. Stokes provides evidence-based sports physical therapy in Dallas for a wide range of orthopedic and performance-limiting diagnoses. Whether you're a runner dealing with IT band syndrome, an overhead athlete managing shoulder pain, or a weekend warrior recovering from an ACL injury, you'll receive a treatment plan built specifically around your body, your sport, and your goals.
Lower extremity: IT band syndrome, runner's knee, ACL injury, Achilles tendinopathy, plantar fasciitis, hip impingement, hamstring strain, and ankle sprains
Upper extremity: rotator cuff pain/tear, shoulder impingement, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, golfer's elbow, and wrist pain
